Apple Picking

Last weekend we went on our annual Apple Picking trip to Behlings Orchards. I have been going to Behlings to get apples for about 8 years. It was always something Mom and I would do on Columbus day weekend when I was in college and now Alicia and Michael have started coming home every fall to go, so it's something we all look forward to. It was Madden and Christian's first trip apple picking and the first time that Elyse has been big enough to pick her own apples. The weather was a little cool and damp, but we had a pretty good time. We got lots of apples and Mom made pies, apple crisp and apple sauce when we got home. Here are some pics from the day.

So, you know it didn't happen with all 3 of them either.









So, I was cleaning the kitchen yesterday while Madden was playing in her gym on the floor and each time I peaked in on her I noticed that Hadley was creeping closer and closer to Madden. Before I knew it, Hadley's head was right on Madden's shoulder. Which, of course, Madden loved. She thinks that Hadley is so cool and wants nothing to do with anyone else when Hadley is around. I snuck in and took some great pictures. Check them out:



Don't mind Madden's hair. I put some lotion on her head, she still has cradle cap and we're trying to get rid of it. I put the lotion on her head and then brushed her hair. It worked more like hairspray!
