Since the last time I blogged Madden has started taking some steps. She has been cruising the furniture for a while, but now she's trying to go it alone. One day she just stood up from her couch and started stepping. She only made it 2 steps before she tumbled. She made it across the living room without falling last night, so I am thinking by the end of this month she'll have a pretty good handle on it. She wants to pracitce all the time. She is constantly grabbing my hands and making me stand up and walk with her. I have posted a ton of pictures and I'll try to put some more up later. The first few pics are from my cell phone so they're poor quality.
This was before school one morning, she was patient enough to let me put pig tails in her hair.
I was assembling her new big girl car seat and she felt she needed to try it out. I have only let her ride facing front a couple times. She loved it, but then I took her to her 1 year appointment and she still wasn'nt 20 pounds, so I turned her back around.
She is such a nerd!

Like any 1 year old, Madden loves spaghetti.
She loves her wagon. She'd sit in it all day. She is wearing a sweater that was made for me 20 something years ago by my Grandma Morrow.
