Halloween - Present

Here are some pictures from October until present. I have some pictures of Madden with Santa (finally, I had to sit on Santa's lap with Madden on my lap in order to get a picture) that I'll post later. Make sure you check out the video of her "reading" at the bottom. I'm sure I won't get to post before Christmas. I hope that everyone has a happy and healthy holiday. I'll be sure to post video's and pictures of Madden after the holiday.

Madden carving her pumpkin. She wasn't really impressed until we were done. Then she wanted to carry it around with her and sit on the couch with it.

Madden in her make-shift witch costume. I couldn't get black fabric, so I bought black pillow cases and cut them. The entire outfit cost me $6.

Kyle, Lexi and Madden making a stop trick or treating at Grandma and Grandpa Soluri's house.

Madden LOVES to color.

Here she is looking at one of the many toy catalogues that came in the mail in November.

Silly, nakey girl.

Thanksgiving morning, having breakfast with Christian.

Uncle Michael made pancakes.

Decorating the tree. Madden was pretty good with the ornaments. Mommy was the only one to break one ;)

This is Madden's new baby doll that the Zimmermann's got her for Christmas. It looks just like Madden. Wait until you see her Christmas pictures. Her and her new baby have matching dresses!

"I'm finished."

Madden calls the Angel at the top of the tree a "princess." She loves princess' and has asked Santa to bring her one. She'd also like Santa to bring her new baby brother or sister some toys so that he/she won't have to play with hers.

This video is tough to see, but you can hear Madden loud and clear. She is reading the night before Christmas to me.

Fall Events and News

We have lots to report. I know I have been terrible about posting pictures and news, but the start of the school year has proved to be busy. Once Matt's football season starts in August, I get very little time on the computer. Matt is having a great football season. They are currently 5-1 and they are beginning the post season this weekend in a cross over game against Bishop Grimes at home.

We've had a very exciting fall which started off with some very exciting news: Madden is going to be a big sister! We are expecting the new baby in April and are very excited about expanding our family.

I have posted a ton of pictures of Madden. I'll try to explain each as they come. There are some pictures from a Zoo trip in August that Mom and I took Elyse and Madden on, some Apple picking pictures and some pictures from "Old McDonald's Farm."

Christian giving one of his famous kisses.

Riding in the wagon for apple picking.

Elyse in a bear cave at the Watertown Zoo.

Elyse posing for a picture with a chipmunk (to her left).

Is she a goof ball or what? She loves "nax." (fruit snacks)

Doesn't Hadley look thrilled?

Eating breakfast before we travel to Elyse's birthday party.

More apple picking pics. This time a kiss from Elyse.

Madden LOVES pumpkins!

Christian likes pumpkins, too. But he insists that they are yellow. He'll fight you to the death over the color of any object. It's always "yellow."

"What are these and can we take one home?"

So, Madden has had 2 colds already this fall. She is all about treating Dora for her colds. She is obsessed with wiping noses and "blowing" her nose. I caught her with the Saline and buger sucker the other day treating Dora's cold. I'm sure if she had a chance, she'd shove them up my nose for pay back!

We went to Old McDonald's Farm this weekend with all the Soluri Grand kids. This is one of the cows we got to feed. He was Ginormous. Madden wasn't super impressed.

Madden visiting the oldest cow in Jefferson County. "#183, The Milking Marvel."

Madden chasing the ducks. She was giggling the whole time, until they all got up and flew which was very loud.

Petting a goat, probably standing in goat poop.

Vacations and Reunions

Here are the latest pics of Madden. We have had a busy summer already spending 2 weekends at camp and participating in the Rowland family reunion. Last Thursday we threw a surprise 50th Birthday party for my Mom. She had no idea that everyone was coming into town one day early to have a birthday dinner at her favorite restaurant. She was completely surprised and had no idea what we'd been up to. We were so thankful to have everyone participate and help make it a special night. I forgot my camera so I'm hoping Alicia will send some pictures my way so I can post them.
Since I last posted Madden has started walking. It's amazing how fast it has happened. We went to camp the last weekend in June with Matt's parents. Came home and on Tuesday and Wednesday she started taking more and more steps and trying to stay on her feet more and more. The next weekend we went back to camp and Matt's parents couldn't believe she was walking, it was like she was a different kid. She is getting really great on her feet now, we just need to work on walking outside.

Hadley and Madden both have a thing for socks!

4th of July weekend. Stinky weather, good company.

"Get off me Daddy."

Madden "driving" the boat with Daddy. She couldn't stand her life jacket.

This is my friend Kristin's daughter, Kayleigh.
