Look Who's Crawling!

Madden has mastered crawling. She is exploring the down stairs today. I have posted a few videos of her crawling and talking. In the one video I swear she says Andrew. I'll post more pictures later.

February Break

Break has come and gone. We had a busy, but relaxing week and were suprised today with a snow day to extend our break one more day. I was thrilled! We woke up to 4 feet drifts in the driveway. Apparently Redfield has us beat with 15 foot drifts. They have gotten 345 inches of snow so far this season and have run out of places to put it. Matt and I went to Boylston last Saturday to have dinner with friends and the snow banks are about 5 feet below the power lines. You can't even see the fronts of people's houses. It's nuts.

Madden started vacation by saying "Peek a boo." She has a book that she loves to read that is called the Peek A Boo Bedtime and she was turning pages saying "Peek a boo." It was so cute. She has also said doggie, and Hadley. She will also "bark" (it doesn't sound like a bark) at you when you ask her what a doggie says. She barks at Hadley when Hadley barks too. I have tried getting all this on video, but have failed so far.
We ended the week at Alicia and Michael's. Matt helped Michael work on finishing his office and then we celebrated Christian's 1st Birthday on Saturday. Unfortunately, I failed to get a single picture while we were there. Madden was not feeling well. She didn't poop from Tuesday until Sunday morning, so you can imagine how she felt. To top it all off, she has 4 teeth coming in at the same time, so she's not eating well either. We took her to urgent care on Saturday in hopes that they could help her "clean her pipes" they suggested using Castor Oil which was the key! The doctor has decided to put her on some medicine to help her deal with this pooping issue, so hopefully she can stop going through this.

Here are the few videos and pics I took this week:

Messy girl!

Elyse watching Happy Feet, holding her bum...

What happened here?

Madden what is that on your nose?

Don't worry its a pea!

Here we are in February. It is a busy month for birthdays. Matt's is the 10th and Andrew and Christian's are the 18th. I am counting the days until February break. I love my job, but I need a break. We all get cabin fever up here around this time of year. Whoever created February break was a genius. Madden still doesn't crawl. She is trying so hard though. She just can't get the hang of it. She seems to get around just fine scooting around. She gets into enough trouble doing that. Aunt Michelle says she empties tissue boxes and the DVD drawer just fine without crawling!

We go back to the doctor on the 16th. He wanted to see her back to see if we have cleared up our pooping problems. The iron in the soy formula seems to be too much for her little belly and was having trouble going. He suggested feeding her 3 times a day, which was fine by Madden. She LOVES food. Her favorites are blueberries with applesauce, prunes (I know right...), which she eats at least 2 times a day, garden veggies, oatmeal and pears, but nothing compares to puffs! I posted a video at the bottom of her getting puffs. She would eat them all day if you let her. I swear puffs will be her first word!

Madden is loving music. She loves commercials that have music on them. During Christmas she loved the hershey kiss commercial where they act as bells and play "We wish you a Merry Christmas." Next was the Wal-Mart superbowl commercial where they play "We Will Rock You." Her head snaps around to watch it. She watches Happy Feet at least once a weekend and loves the music and watching Mumble dance. She has started dancing a little too. I love it! We listen to music on the computer and I found out yesterday she likes New Kids on the Block "Hanging Tough." What can I say, the kid's got her mother's taste!

Here are the most recent pictures.

We are practicing push ups!

She can do this, but she can't crawl!
I love this picture.

Believe it or not, this is a happy face!

Nakey baby. This was the second diaper explosion of the day. She wrestled away from me so I let her sit nakey for a few minutes.

I see a hiney...

The look like they are looking for trouble.

I look like I want to crawl .

This is a long video. I apoligize for my singing. Madden's new favorite commercial was the Wal-Mart Superbowl commercial. She would drop what she was doing and watch the tv when it came on. So, we started teasing her and singing the song and she'd look at the tv.
