We had an amazing holiday. It was, by far, the best Christmas ever. I asked Matt "What was so exciting about Christmas before we had Madden?" Christmas Eve was spent at my parents house, we woke up Christmas morning at our house and Madden woke up to santa's gifts. We bought a digital camcorder, so all my video is on there. If I can figure out how to upload it on here, I'll post that soon, too. As you can see she got a four wheeler "like daddy's" that was so exciting. We couldn't get her to open anything else. Santa definitely picked up on Madden's "princess" hints. Santa brought her a princess doll, princess shirt, princess coloring book and a little people princess palace. She also got some baby dolls, books, blocks and her own computer from her Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents.
We have a delivery date for the new baby. As of right now, we are scheduled to have a c-section April 8th. This is actually great timing, as it's the Thursday before Matt's spring break. and the following week is Sandy Creek's break, so I'll have extra hands at home for the first 2 weeks while I adjust and recover.
Madden's vocabulary is expanding everyday. We catch her repeating phrases back to us and she is stringing together several word sentences. She has so much to say and is learning so much everyday. I'm trying to get video of her singing her ABC's. She picks up at HIJK and you can make out most of the letters after that.
Here are picks from the holidays. They are in reverse order.

Christmas morning on her first ride.

Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa's reading "The Night Before Christmas"

Apparently we had a smudge on the camera lense that night because half of all my pictures are blurry.

Madden's Christmas Eve dress, her baby doll had one just like it.

December 23rd, Madden and Elyse reading.

These are pictures that Kelly Ashby took for us at our house. Madden wasn't very cooperative, but we did get some great shots.

Madden at Breakfast with Santa.
This was the only way I was going to get a picture of Madden and Santa. So all 3 of us sat on his lap.
